Has anyone else caught the two Goddess references in LDS Living Magazine this month? On page 10 under "A Tisket, A Tasket" they explain where the Easter basket originated giving credit to the Goddess Eastre who brought great bounty with a basket custom in her honor. Also on page 96 the gardening header reads "...spend some time with Mother Nature." What's interesting to me is how Mother Nature is capitalized, a proper noun, not just a passing metaphor.
I can't imagine an Evangelical or Catholic Christian Magazine ever doing the same. Another testament to our Heavenly Mother's presence among the Saints :)
