Picture: Twitoaster shutting down this Sunday

Twitoaster shutting down this Sunday [SCREENSHOTS], twitoaster_shutting_down_this_Sunday_nugglepurl PICTURE: Time to unplug the toaster: Twitoaster shutting down netflix
As of March 21 Manila time 1:06 am Twitoaster is Down.

From product goals to technical stuff, there are many areas where Twitoaster needs to evolve and to be improved. And I unfortunately don’t have the time anymore to work on all of this. So this Sunday (March 20th):
  • The Twitoaster API will be totally shut down (read & write). Any external service relying on it will obviously cease to function (i.e. Twitoaster WordPress plugin). Please note this also includes the feeds!
  • The website will remain accessible in a “read-only status” for some time. That means you’ll still be able to access your threaded timelines, conversations, rankings… but nothing will be updated anymore and you won’t be able to login with your #twitter account.
I really wanted to thank you guys again for using Twitoaster. Take a last bite in the toasts while they’re still hot. I’ll update this post when I’ll actually unplug the toaster.

Malacañang Palace on Monday launching the revised signage for the Press Briefing Room in the New Executive Building. In a briefer published on the Official Gazette, the palace said the 2011 version is the latest update to the logo since 1986.

2011 Revision

The 2011 signage for the Press Briefing Room of the New Executive Building is the latest update since 1986. The present modified design harmonizes the elements of past official signage, incorporating the famous Pasig River façade of the Palace with its arched windows and two towers, the name of the official residence and its location. The background color is the national blue, as used in the national flag and presidential seal. The font used is in keeping with the traditional typography used in official stationery since the Commonwealth era.

Skype Down Millions users affected

Tips to Fix Time in Blogging, Organize_Time Skype Down for Many Users
Millions affected as Skype goes down: Skype has explained today’s downtime on its blog, nothing that “Customers using the enterprise version of Skype for Windows  may still experience delays signing in.”

Last month, Skype hit a new usage record, hosting 25 million people on its service concurrently, speaking to both the ubiquity of the service and the problem created when it goes down. Let’s just hope this doesn’t rival the Skype outage of 2007, which saw the service down for an extended period of time.
Update (3:20 p.m. ET): Skype has posted an update on its blog , assuring users that the service should return in “a few hours.”

Skype is a software application that allows users to make voice calls over the Internet. Calls to other users within the Skype service are free, while calls to both traditional landline telephones and mobile phones can be made for a fee using a debit-based user account system.
