index, seo_increase_traffic No Follow vesus Do Follow
The comment section of both Blogger and WordPress are NO FOLLOW. Why? This is set this way to prevent spammers flooding any blog, specially to those who are not aware of the technical aspect of blogging. I will let you in a little secret.. there are bloggers or internet marketers who are looking for blogs whose comment section is DO FOLLOW. No idea what is the difference between No Follow and Do Follow? read more about DO Follow VS No Follow here. These marketers search the internet for comment section that are DO FOLLOW.. and making your comment section a DO FOLLOW will gain you a little more traffic than usual.
How to make Blogger blog comment section DO FOLLOW?
  • Go to your dashboard then go to DESIGN
  • Edit you HTML setting but first check the box that says: Expand Widget Templates
  • Press Control F to your keyboard then find the phrase: data:comment.authorUrl’ rel=’nofollow’
  • Change the phrase rel=’nofollow’ to rel=’dofollow’ this will change the attribute of the back links in the comment section.
It does not end there.. to make your blog more attractive to marketers, here’s what you can do:
  • Go to your dashboard and then settings.
  • Go to COMMENTS
  • On the Comment Form Message (scroll down a bit) write something like this: This is a PR3 blog with DO FOLLOW comment section. Comments are moderated.
  • You can also display a badge in your sidebar that says your blog is DO FOLLOW.
How to make WordPress blog comment section DO FOLLOW?
  • Go to your dashboard and click PLUG INS then ADD NEW
  • Search for the plug in: DO FOLLOW, install then activate.
  • Yes, that easy!
Now, to make your blog more inviting to spammers (aka traffic), try changing the phrase in the comment section
  • First look for a single post in your blog then scroll down to the comment section, copy and save the phrase in your comment section (mine says: leave a reply)
  • Go to Appearance then EDITOR, then COMMENTS.
  • Search for the phrase you copied and then change it to a better and more inviting phrase: This is a PR3 blog with DO FOLLOW comment section. Comments are moderated.
Take note that I intentionally use the words PR3, DO FOLLOW, comment section.. since this are the words that most marketers and blog spammers commenter search on the net. If your blog is not PR3, you can just put: Comment section is DO FOLLOW.

What is No Follow and Do Follow in Blogger and WordPress?

seo_increase_traffic No Follow vesus Do Follow
I often wonder why advertisers always specify and will not approve a paid post if the link is rel=’nofollow’. I know you are askin to know too.

What’s the difference? At first I thought, a no follow link means a broken link. A link that when clicked won’t direct you to the page of that link. So I clicked on our sponsor link and was shocked to know that it is directed to his page.. huh? so what is the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NO FOLLOW AND DO FOLLOW LINK? read the tutorial here

Do follow links are links that is followed. That’s easy. Followed by whom? and where? Example, if your link is here in my blog and if it is a do follow link, the search engines will follow that link and will associate your site to my website.

A no follow link is simply a way of saying that a link should not be associated to your site. This is best done for sites that you think have malicious contents. So if you don’t wanna share your page ranks and all, use rel=no follow on your links.

In human terms, do follow means we’re friends and you know what they say about friends, tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are. And with no follow it means you are not friends.

Should we really care if a link on our site is a no follow or do follow?

I don’t think for us there is much difference. We are unlike advertisers who paid for links. That’s why with them it is very important that their link are do follow. They are paying for Pagerank and stats association. That’s the reason why advertisers pays higher than the usual if your PR is higher, because you are also sharing to them your Page Rank.

Is this information helpful? What can you say?

Guide to get Google Sitelinks, Search Engine

What are the Google Sitelinks? They are those links that appear below the first result when you search for the name of a website or blog take the picture below about Blogger.com Site links.

Google implemented the sitelinks to help users find the information or section inside a particular website more easily. That is what the links only appear when you search for the exact name of a website, because those are considered “navigational queries.”

The Blogger Google Sitelinks Screenshot
One could say that the sitelinks are nothing more than shortcuts in the search results to help users navigate to a website more efficiently.

How you can get sitelinks for your website or Blogger, Wordpress blog. Unfortunately there is no switch that you need to turn on to enable sitelinks for your site. Google handles sitelinks automatically through an algorithm, and usually you get sitelinks when your website is perceived as an authority.

Practically speaking, this means that your website/blogs needs to have a good amount of backlinks, people searching for its name on Google and so on.

Personally I have never worried too much about sitelinks on my new websites. If you keep publishing quality content and promoting it, eventually you will get the sitelinks.

What are the benefits of having Google sitelinks? I believe there are two, one tangible and one intangible. The tangible benefit is an increase in traffic for your website, because the sitelinks will give you more exposure in the search results, increasing the Clickthrough Rate (CTR) you will get on search queries. Sitelinks can present in the Search engine results page (SERPs) web pages returned by a search engine in response to a keyword query.

Tips to Fix Time in Blogging

Tips to Fix Time in Blogging, Organize_Time tips to optimize your time for blog writing
I read dozens of blogs devoted to advice and tips for SEO. Users follow the advice to start a blog , then apply it to write better and optimize SEO. Then, when they had some results, they face a huge problem, time. They discover that blogging is an art of living, and must have a place in the schedule as busy as it is.

When I read the reviews of beginners, I see comments like: I have no time to blog or I have no time to write articles every day. It is essential to have a concrete timetable to get there, and I too do not publish on my blog every day, but when you look closer, you realize you can earn minutes here and there.

6 Tips To Organize Time In Blogging
1. Less theory and more practice! Beginners spend too much time reading and making plans for the long term. Stop, and take action, write, write, and write! Even if you are a champion in SEO, it is useless if you lack in contents. Do not be a blog reader, be a creative blogger.

2. Look after your health, I know it looks stupid, but we must take care of our health. Exercise, jugging, walk, to unwind the mind. In other words, be more energetic!

3. Focus on the important aspect of the blog, The goal of any blogger is to have visitors, so you can concentrate on that, and what attracts visitors? Ahh content? Well here it is, then is it useful to publish the stats every week? It is also interesting to directly address the reader, avoid the impersonal tone.
4. Stop controlling the statistics! All bloggers are obsessed with statistics, including me. Some are so obsessed that they publish the number of statistics in their blog! I’m not saying do not do it, but every week, it borders on the ridiculous! The statistics will improve automatically if you produce content in quantity and quality.

5. Do not get distracted, Most of us spend their time in social networks and RSS readers, they want to be the first to be informed. And the content? It’s nice to treat the personnal branding, but the latter only if you have any articles to prove it. Currently, the reputation on Twitter or Facebook is not as important as that of a blog. The best is to organize time for both theory and practice.

6. Emphasize quality over quantity, Some follow a step too hectic, they think that writing articles 4 or 5 turn them into better bloggers.  Your blog will not die if you miss a day or two, it is better to write a good article a week.

If you are using Blogger, you will observe that the individual post title is separated with a colon after the Blog title. Got it? Well, take a look at the screenshot below.

Tweaking the template to achieve this is very easy. If you find removing the navigation bar easy, what you are going to do now is just as easy as the pie. Just follow these simple steps.

Note: Always backup your template just in case something goes wrong!

10 Ways to Increase Your Site Crawl Rate

Regular and frequent visits by the crawler is the first sign that your site appeals to Google. Thus the most efficient way to get frequent and deep crawls is to develop a website that search engines see as important and valuable.
Note that you can’t force Googlebot to visit you more often – what you can do is to invite it to come. Possible measures to take to increase the crawl rate may include:
  1. Update your content often and regularly (and ping Google once you do) – well, an obvious one, so not much to describe here; in a word, try to add new unique content as often as you can afford and do it regularly (3 times a week can be the best solution if you can’t update your site daily and are looking for the optimal update rate).
  2. Make sure your server works correctly: mind the uptime and Google Webmaster tools reports of the unreached pages. Two tools I can recommend here are Pingdom and Mon.itor.us.
  3. Mind your page load time: note that the crawl works on a budget – if it spends too much time crawling your huge images or PDFs, there will be no time left to visit your other pages.
  4. Check the site internal link structure: make sure there is no duplicate content returned via different URLs: again, the more time the crawler spends figuring your duplicate content, the fewer useful and unique pages it will manage to visit.
  5. Get more back links from regularly crawled sites.
  6. Adjust the crawl speed via Google Webmaster tools.
  7. Add a sitemap (though it’s up for a debate whether the sitemap can help with crawling and indexing issues, many webmasters report they have seen increased crawl rate after adding it).
  8. Make sure your server returns the correct header response. Does it handle your error pages properly? Don’t make the bot figure out what has happened: explain it clearly.
  9. Make sure you have unique title and meta tags for each of your pages.
  10. Monitor Google crawl rate for your site and see what works and what not:
